HLUG is hosting our 2010 International Software Freedom Day event with space kindly donated by All Saints, Hereford

It’s a free Drop-in event so just call in to experience how easy Open Source Software is to install and use.

The day is focusing on Open Source software with special emphasis on Business, Education and Home Users. We  have lots of free software and distro discs to give away and will be running demonstrations of high quality OS cross platform software for Windows, Mac and Linux, plus demonstrations of specific Linux distro’s.

View Larger Map The range of Open Source Software available is huge, many programs are cross platform and run on Mac or Windows as well as Linux  –  we can suggest OS programs that will best suit your needs – the OS alternatives to well known proprietary software and we will show you how to dual boot a PC or laptop so you can try linux alongside your original system.

Members of the HLUG will be on hand to give informal help and advise –  so whether you’re  completely new to Open Source and are looking for information and advice or  an experienced linux user and want to have a look at some alternative distro’s call in and say hello.

The venue has full disabled access. Coffee and refreshments are available at the Cafe@AllSaints right next to the event

We look forward to seeing you there.
